Arboretum Closed until New Year
We have been assessing the damage storm Derragh inflicted on the Arboretum over the weekend, and we have had to make the difficult decision to keep the Arboretum closed to the public until the New Year at least.
Unfortunately, the storm has uprooted 11 trees across the site and caused damage to many more. We will need specialist arborists to help us make the site safe again and the work will take many weeks.
If you have booked admission into the Arboretum through out December we will ensure that you get a refund of these charges before the New Year.
Tickets can be pre-booked online up to one hour before you wish to visit.
RHS Members - Free entry
Gardeners World - 2 adults for the price of one
Annual Pass - All normal opening hours.
Carers - free entry for one adult accompanying a disabled guest
Groups - you can book all group bookings online. Your group discount will automatically be applied to all chargeable tickets for groups of 20 or more.
Standard admission prices include Gift Aid – if you choose our Gift Aid admission ticket we can claim 25% of your ticket price from the UK Government. This money will be used for our charity’s work in managing our land and working with our local community to create a landscape where both people and nature can thrive in the beauty of a 200 year old Arboretum.
